Hello,

doesn't look too good.

First:

https://www.szenebox.org/images/_imported/2016/04/48.jpg

I couldn't find a way to register, I only got "What?" as answer from the site when clicking the button.

Second: Much important info is missing from your site. I can't find prices, allowed bandwidth usage, info about if uploading is allowed and whose infrastructure it's using. Can I assume it's one of the many reselling offers? If not: how is peering / syncing with the bigger networks (Giganews and Highwinds for example) designed?

Due to ddos its 1 minute online and 1 minute offline ;) Its prevention its not a bug.

On *nix box u can do the following to login:
openssl s_client -connect news.usenet.bz:563
Response: 201 ~~== NEWS.USENET.CAT [NNTP SERViCE READY] ==~~ (posting prohibited)

Then
AUTHINFO USER someuser
AUTHINFO PASS somepass

Server: news.usenet.bz
Server: news.usenet.cat
Server: news.usenet.lc
Server: news.usenet.lt
Server: news.usenet.vc
Port: 563 (SSL!)

Its Free test so there is no prices for now.

Well, other sites have useful error messages ;-)

Will test it out. Be advised there are proven and cheaper services (7 x 0.005297 - that's about $21 now - compare that to Giganews or Newsdemon). If you run your own servers it's important to know what peering bandwidth and push cycles are at least for Giganews and Highwinds. No one will pay for a service that needs hours to push postings to Giganews and Highwinds users. That's an important characteristic for uploaders as well as the available upload bandwidth.

@Cannonau Newsdemon is not a good Usenet-Provider to compare to, they ban accounts for excessive useage (approx. >1TB per month).

@xARif And the prices are not really cheap, i.e. Usenetbucket offers 12,95€ per Month (without offers like 30% off) for 400 MBit/s (Unlimited), 50 Connections (TLS/SSL) and 1100 Days of Retention.

I would rather take an Provider that is well known (and cheaper!) for a good service than your offer.

@holle yep, but we are still in BETA stage and the prices are not yet public, it was just an example of prices ;) just possible prices, not final yet

The threshold actually lies at about 2TB / month, that's pretty OK for an account you can have for €5,40 / month ;-) Please let's discuss this in another thread if you want to.

That's why we try to help you to adjust them - any new player on the new USP-market is seen with pleasure.
